Summer and After School Care

Summer Program

Gateway’s summer program offers a fun-filled day camp along with a wide variety of weeklong classes. Summer day camp is held on our bayside campus, and days are filled with games, arts and crafts, cooking, beach trips, science exploration, and other traditional camp activities. Weeklong summer classes include academic courses like structured writing, as well as a broad range of special interest classes: chess, circus arts, Spanish, computer animation, jazz dance, kayaking, lego robotics, painting, clay, and web page design.

After School Care Program

The mission of Gateway’s before and aftercare program is to create a safe, caring environment where children can explore, discover, develop and expand their individual interests, creativity, physical abilities, and social skills. Before school care is included in tuition and operates 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. each school day. Gateway’s aftercare program operates 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at additional cost, and a variety of contracts and schedules are available.
