There's Still Time to Order Yearbooks!
Capture the year in fun-filled photos! It's not too late to order the 2007-2008 yearbook. Click on the Order Form in the Wednesday Flyer box at right. Fill it out and bring your payment to the Main Office. Yearbooks will be delivered to students Wednesday!
Join Us for Pizza Night!
It's going to be a busy week! Give yourself a break and enjoy dinner at Woodstock's Pizza on Tuesday, June 10, 5 to 9 p.m. 25% of the proceeds will go to Gateway School. You need to bring the flyer in the Wednesday Flyer folder at right. More flyers will be available in the school lobby. Thanks to the GPA for arranging this delicious end-of-year fundraiser!
New Computers for the Middle School
Last Day of School Events
Can you believe another school year has flown by?! Join us on Thursday, June 12, for the final day of school events. There will be a parent coffee at 8:00 followed by the K-7 Step Up Ceremony at 9. Graduation takes place at 1 p.m. with a cake reception at 2:45. For more information, see the flyer at right. We hope you can join us for some or all of these activities.
Student Art Tour Begins May 27
Gateway students create an impressive array of art each year. Parents and families are invited to the annual Art Tour beginning on Tuesday, May 27th to view some of this incredible work. Every K-5 student will have a piece of artwork in the show, along with Middle School students who have taken a visual arts elective. The tour is self-guided, so come at your convenience. Thank you to parent volunteer Lisa Williams for coordinating the show!
Join us for David Day
Bid a fond farewell to Head of School David Peerless on Friday, May 30. The celebration begins with a morning coffee from 8 to 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day with classroom visits, a school-wide lunch and a 1:30 p.m. assembly. For a complete schedule please see the materials that were sent home with your child (because some of the details will be a suprise for David).
No School Monday, May 26
There is no school on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. Daycare is not available. Have a great long weekend!
Talent Show Try-Outs Continue
It's not too late to try out for the annual student talent show. Those who need a piano can try out in the Library on Tuesday, May 20 between 12 and 12:40. All other try-outs will be Wednesday, May 21 in the Middle School science room between 12:15 and 1 p.m. The talent show will be on Wednesday, June 11.
