50 Years Of Gateway

Gateway School was founded in 1970 by Hannelore Herbig whose mission was to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Over the past 50 years Gateway continues to motivate students to reach their maximum potential through small classes and dedicated teachers.

We encouraged thinking, creativity, and personal responsibility, as well as mastery of basic skills. The atmosphere of the School fostered respect for self, others and the environment.  Hannelore Herbig, founder of Gateway School
