Gateway Families Association (GFA)

All Gateway parents and guardians belong to the Gateway Families Association (GFA), which builds community through school-wide events and serves as a means of communication for families with the administration and the Board of Trustees. The GFA is run by a planning committee and holds monthly meetings open to all families. You can reach the GFA planning committee at GFA@gatewaysc.org.

Gateway families are involved, active and inspired. From fundraising to field trips, the family community makes vital contributions to the life of the school. Volunteer opportunities range from working in the classroom and driving on field trips, to being a room parent or assisting with special event planning such as Grandfriends Day, Bike to School Day, and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Parents/Guardians also choose to get involved by serving as Parent Ambassadors for tours and open houses, helping with our Auction Committee, and serving on the Board of Trustees and/or its various committees.
